Urban Outfitters Pride Month Recap

During the month of June, Urban Outfitters (UO) partnered with Fujifilm to celebrate Pride across the country.

To kick it off, Tegan and Sara performed in Space 15 Twenty in Los Angeles as part of their eighth album release, Love You To Death. Fans got the chance to see the sisters up-close-and-personal with an exclusive performance.

In mid-June, some UO team members marched in the Philadelphia Pride Parade and had a great time celebrating love in all of its forms, wearing shirts that read "Pride Won't Hide." Urban Outfitters was also named best float in the parade - an exciting bonus! To end the month strong, New Orleans bounce queen Big Freedia came to her second home in New York City for an in-store performance at Herald Square.

In addition to the month long celebrations, Urban Outfitters is donating $25,000 to the OneOrlando fund, to support nonprofit organizations serving victims, their families and the Orlando community. UO is also donating 10% of weekend sales (June 25-26) from the UO Orlando store to OneOrlando in partnership with The Mall at Millennia. At the local level, Urban Outfitters also donated $25,000 to The Attic Youth Center, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit, that creates opportunities for LGBTQ youth within a safe and supportive community, and promotes the acceptance of LGBTQ youth in society.
